Updates & Announcements
On this day, AdBux celebrates its 1 year birthday! In one year we have surpassed everyone’s expectations and we plan to be here for years and years to come. Our last newsletter that we sent out back in February discussed our plans for a future re-launch and a pause on payments. That re-launch was originally planned for today but because of certain specifics regarding the new incentives and changes coming, we decided to postpone the launch until May and payments will be restarted (or just starting for some) in June.

In the past year we have gone through many trials, troubles, and issues. We’ve been accused of scamming people, other sites infringed on our copyrights (*cough* Bux.to *cough*), multiple server issues, payment processor problems, security issues, cheaters, and more. But everything that we have been through only made us stronger.

AdBux will continually be the forefront of everything it creates. WE created what you see all over the net, the assortment of PTC sites, the copy cats and the clones. We were the first of our kind. The upcoming incentives and changes you will see take place over the next quarter will be originated by us and guaranteed to be copied by others. But, that’s the way business is. We have to try to keep a competitive edge or else!

Just to give you a taste of what you can expect:

Revenue Share System
Instead of earning USD for everything you do, you will instead earn shares of our revenue. 70% of all funds we earn through our various advertising programs will be split with you based on the amount of shares that you earn. Shares will be earned the same way that you currently earn USD… by clicking ads, completing offers, and whatever else we come out with over the next quarter. These shares can then be sold back to us a full price and we pay you! The shares can also be invested back into AdBux for account enhancers like upgrades, autolines, referrals, etc. Furthermore, shares can be exchanged for advertising. Every week you will be notified of the current share value. Our target share value is approx $1 per share but it could be more! Anything less than the share value is considered to be ‘points’. Points become shares and shares become dollars! As our share value goes up, you can decide on whether you want to sell it back to us or wait to see if the share value gets higher… it’s all about strategy and methodoligy for getting the most money for your work.

Get Paid for Knowledge
Like the popular Yahoo! Answers, we are creating a service called ‘AdBux Ask’. The users who give the best answers to the questions that other AdBux users ask, will earn the most points/shares! The questions will not be AdBux support questions, but instead will be any question our users have regarding anything!

Get Paid to Search the Net
Unlike failed services in the past, we are committed to make this unique idea work. Users will be able to search the net using our own search engine. Our own advertisers will bid on keywords (cheaper than anything out there) and the searchees (the users) will get a portion of the clicks generated. Much like how you get paid for clicking ads now, only this will be more targeted by interest because the users will be searching for something they want/need.

Get Paid to Play Games
This is something we planned on starting last year but it never came about. Users will be able to play popular flash games within AdBux and earn points/shares for their time and scores.

AdBux Charity
We are determined to give to those who are in need. So, 5% of all revenue that we generate will be given to several well known and respected charities. There will also be the option for AdBux users to donate some of their earnings to one of our partnered charities. Incentives for donating will include things like free upgrades and autoline memberships!

New Payment Processors
Things are great with AlertPay. The only problem is that they don’t accept all countries and AdBux is a worldwide service! After much thought, we have decided to add on a couple more payment processors, one of them being a reloadable debit card.

Multiple Levels
We will be adding another level of referral earnings sometime during the next quarter. What’s this mean for you? More money! Instead of just earning from your direct referrals, you will soon be able to earn from your referrals’ referrals!

Language Support
We’ve already converted AdBux into 3 new languages (not up yet) and plan to add on several more. The more languages, the more global we get.

Daily Payouts
Premium users will be able to receive daily payouts. Upgrade Today!

Forums & Live Support
We will be bringing back the forums but it will not be connected to the AdBux database. It will be standalone and part of our AdBux Support system. It will be a place where AdBux users can talk about AdBux related issues and support. We will also be starting a live support program where you will be able to talk to one of our support agents (in English) in real time!

The above upcoming changes are real and will be happening throughout the entire next quarter. We look forward to serving you and creating a network of services that you will get paid to use! AdBux is growing by leaps and bounds every day. By the middle of the summer we should have over 1 million members and our payouts will be getting closer and closer to nearly half-a-million dollars!

Stay active and keep referring users. Your work will pay off in the long run and will help pave the way for future users!

If you have any questions regarding whats listed above, or if you don’t understand something please create a support ticket by clicking here.

AdBux: Reloaded

March 31st, 2008

AdBux: Reloaded launches in May and payouts will continue (or start for some) in June! Stay up to date with our news and blogs and continue to refer others and use the program. We’re taking online money making to a whole new level! You should expect to see a lot of enhancements, daily payouts will return, forums will return, games and other types of “money mediums” will finally begin (if certain deals pull through), revshares, and more.

We’re also developing new ideas, incentives and mediums to add into the next AdBux version. If you have ideas that you think we should implement into AdBux: Reloaded, send them to ihaveideas@adbux.org. We may not respond, but if we use your idea, we will pay you for it when launched!

New & Exciting Changes!!

March 16th, 2008

Expect to see some big changes at AdBux within the next week. Make sure you subscribe to our newsletter so you are up to date!

AlertPay is Now Added & Fully Supported

January 29th, 2008

We’ve changed all mentions of PayPal on the site to AlertPay and are now fully setup with AlertPay. What’s so great about AlertPay? For starters, they have proven to be more secure as people cannot create frivolous disputes or charge backs which allows us keep virtually 100% of all incoming money. Google Checkout is also as secure as AlertPay for incoming payments because they also thwart frivolous disputes. AlertPay also has comparable fees and rates as other processors like PayPal. AlertPay can also be used with e-Gold which a lot of people LOVE!

If you joined before the 25th of this month, you need to update your payment information with your new AlertPay address within the profile. We do not want to continue processing previous payments to address that do not work so we’ve removed all of the old PayPal addresses.

We plan on resuming previous owed payments by the end of the month and hope we can all be back on track in February.

Leads Now Selling for $0.05/lead

January 29th, 2008

We really want to people to start contacting our 15,000 inactive members who don’t have a referrer so we’ve decided to sell them off at a rate of only $0.05/lead. Check it out!

Finally Back to Normal!

January 25th, 2008

Yesterday after our launch on the new servers we had a few errors on the stats page and some dealing with the DNS also. However these issues have now been resolved. If you purchased anything before the servers went down friday and didn’t receive the service purchased please contact us here. That link will take you to our new AdBux Ticket System and there you will be able to be helped on any question or request that you have. Thank you so very much for you patience and positive attitudes.

We are back up and PayPal is down!

January 24th, 2008

After a grueling 5 1/2 days dealing with Aplus we are now back up with a new company LimeStone Networks and faster than ever! Let’s just hope it stays that way. In other news, most of you may have noticed that a lot of PTC sites cannot use PayPal any longer as PayPal has closed their doors on this industry due to the fraud. Here is a recent post we made on the GPTWorld forums:

If you haven’t heard, PayPal has been limiting access to PTC owners’ PayPal accounts. They’ve done the same with AdBux. On Friday our servers went down and are still down, on Saturday we were notified of the limited account access in PayPal. We’ve been dealing with our host half of the time and with PayPal the other half. The good news is that we’ve found a new host who can get us back up and running by tomorrow at the earliest. The bad news is that we’re locked out of PayPal for good.

It’s very frustrating but we will move on and prevail. AlertPay will be added as the primary payment processor for incoming and outgoing payments. We will also use Google Checkout for incoming in addition to AlertPay. There is even talk of issuing re-loadable visa debit cards to the users for outgoing payments.

In my honest opinion, AlertPay is a lot better than PayPal but the problem is that it just isn’t as widespread. Hopefully, with our 700,000 users, we can change that.

So, you might as well go ahead and get an AlertPay account because you’ll need it if you are making money with PTC’s!

Payouts will continue to be paid for last month as our users slowly merge over to AlertPay. All references of PayPal on the site should be changed by tomorrow. And, we will not be deleting accounts (rumor), so don’t worry!

AdBux Servers Update

January 22nd, 2008

We were not able to resolve the issues with our current host and they are not helping. If you ever need hosting, do NOT use aplus.net. You will ALWAYS have issues.

We’ve decided to make the move to a new host, http://limestonenetworks.com and they seem to be a highly reputable company. For most of you, we should be back up tomorrow (01/23) and for some of you, it may take a day longer for your ISP to fully propgate and refresh their DNS.

See you shortly and thanks for being patient.

AdBux Downtime

January 19th, 2008

At around 10:41 PM (Central) last night the MySQL servers AdBux are hosted on failed, and have been down ever since.

At this time we do not have an estimated time on when we think the servers will be back up.

We apologize for this inconvenience and hope to have this issue resolved as soon as possible.

Thank You.
