Important News - AdBux Offers Notification

Monday, July 14th, 2008

The BIG question many newcomers have of AdBux is which is the fastest way to accumulate points?  No doubt, ads are fast and easy to view, however, advertiser OFFERS is where points can be accumulated quickly.

During the past ten days, AdBux programmers have been hard at work refining AdBux “Browse Offers” page.

We have made a number of changes, which AdBux users will find beneficial…

We have defaulted the Browse Offers search to NEWEST OFFERS  as opposed to sorting results by “Point Value” (Worth). This new search default means that users are presented with the latest OFFERS within the first two pages of the “Browse Offers” pages, as opposed to having to search offers page by page by page.

Next, we have four AdBux staff members dedicated to scouring ALL offers, based upon specific criteria such as; point value, effort involved in completing the offer and the reputation of the company providing the offer to AdBux Users. This is why the search default for our “Browse Offers” page has been changed to “NEWEST OFFERS”. In addition, the AdBux homepage is updated regularly with Brand New Offers (which have just been loaded into the system).

Remember to check the AdBux homepage for updated offers, as once the quota is achieved for those offers, they can be discontinued (unless renewed) by the advertiser. The popular offers are always the daily offers, which users will find within the first two pages of the “Browse Offers” page.

As always, if you have any questions, please, send us an email at support@adbux.org

Captcha Verification Added to Paid Ads

Thursday, January 17th, 2008

We’ve added a captcha verification code to all paid ads effective immediately. The process should be quick and simple for the honest clickers. When the timer runs down, all you need to do is enter the 5 letter code as shown and press ‘enter’ on your keyboard. You will have 3 minutes from the time the ad is shown to enter the correct code. If you enter the correct code as shown within 3 minutes of the page loading then you’ll be credited for the view. If you type the incorrect code as shown or type it outside of 3 minutes, you will not be credited for the view.

New Captcha Security Feature

Tuesday, January 15th, 2008

Unfortunately this industry has it’s drawbacks, that drawback is CHEATERS. GPT sites usually die because of fraud and cheating. We won’t let that happen so we are going to do everything we can to fight it. With AdBux, it’s the click bots. To fight this, we’ve decided to implement a captcha image that will require human verification to view the ad. This will permanently put a stop to the click bots and will allow the honest users to continue earning money the correct way. This will also give advertisers the best quality traffic available.

Expect to see this feature appear sometime this week.
