We are back up and PayPal is down!
After a grueling 5 1/2 days dealing with Aplus we are now back up with a new company LimeStone Networks and faster than ever! Let’s just hope it stays that way. In other news, most of you may have noticed that a lot of PTC sites cannot use PayPal any longer as PayPal has closed their doors on this industry due to the fraud. Here is a recent post we made on the GPTWorld forums:
If you haven’t heard, PayPal has been limiting access to PTC owners’ PayPal accounts. They’ve done the same with AdBux. On Friday our servers went down and are still down, on Saturday we were notified of the limited account access in PayPal. We’ve been dealing with our host half of the time and with PayPal the other half. The good news is that we’ve found a new host who can get us back up and running by tomorrow at the earliest. The bad news is that we’re locked out of PayPal for good.
It’s very frustrating but we will move on and prevail. AlertPay will be added as the primary payment processor for incoming and outgoing payments. We will also use Google Checkout for incoming in addition to AlertPay. There is even talk of issuing re-loadable visa debit cards to the users for outgoing payments.
In my honest opinion, AlertPay is a lot better than PayPal but the problem is that it just isn’t as widespread. Hopefully, with our 700,000 users, we can change that.
So, you might as well go ahead and get an AlertPay account because you’ll need it if you are making money with PTC’s!
Payouts will continue to be paid for last month as our users slowly merge over to AlertPay. All references of PayPal on the site should be changed by tomorrow. And, we will not be deleting accounts (rumor), so don’t worry!

I’ve never used anyone else before besides PayPal, hope AlertPay is just as good, if not better.

I much rather see adbux go to the reloadable visa cards it would be so much easier and do away with all the safety worries of signing up to a new payment processor.
